i realised something...

i think it's unbelievable...

Nan Hua Symphonic Band!!!

Band is my passion! Trumpet section rox!!! Band rocks! my seniors rock! and most of all, i rock!!!

Day 1 of camp: Drills- learn lots of new things... forgot lots. i know how to move, budden very stiff, and dun understand the command...lol. There was a 5 min endurance test... Major, Aloysius, cracked a "pervertic" joke. [not very actually] laughed... and Aloysius + asst.Drum Major, Jerome, disturb us, almost burst out in laughter, in the end all the sec 1 "kena" 20 pumps, except zoey, who settled with 10. so pro, never laugh...

Games- Treasure Hunt!!! Me is in group 2, treasure hunt only 3 ppl play[in my grp] the 3 ppl are aloysius, yi ran and me!! and we won! so pro! clap for us...lols... :D we just took almost everything we saw... lol!!

Lunch- ate 2 packets of rice and drank 2 bottle of lemon tea. seniors playing truth or dare, tao yang "whacked" my head and say then i walk away, then walked back. wei siang came and banged the table, asking yuan ting "can i have your number" then we were like lol...

Practice- super full, almost vomited during practice...

Games- giant skipping rope and some dunno call wad game.

Day 2 of Camp: Practice- blow things. i think was the rat song and superheros. tmr will be twin oaks.

Lunch- nth interesting bahs

ROD/ORD: very funny

Games:water bomb!!! wasn't wet until apple randomly splashed water at me, then followed by shirlene then i think i randomly splashed water at seniors then, tao yang and justin splashed me. tao yang took a 1.5l water bottle, fill it with water i chased after me, then i just run. justin wanted to take revenge and blahs, wei siang randomly splashed water.

AFTER CLASS, KAI QING STARTED SINGING "NOBODY". *LAUGHS AGAIN* CAUSE SHE REMINDED ME ABT THE ACC TEACHER.*LAUGH LIKE CRAZY*.THEN KEEP *LAUGH-ING*.THEN MUSE INTERVIEW *LAUGHS* THEN WENT TO KFC. JUN MING & FRIENDS "ABANDONED" CHEN XIN, SO BOUGHT HER ALONG TO KFC ALSO.THEN WE(A LOT OF PPLS) EAT THEN TALK FOR ABT 1 HOUR. THEN WENT TO BUY HAIR CLIPS AND STUFF FOR SHIRLENE.
THEN WENT HOME BY 184. STOPPED @ BUKIT TIMAH.(THERE WAS ONCE I SAW SEBESTIAN SIM [THINK WAS DURING HOLIDAYS] WE STOOD BESIDE EACH OTHER,ABT 2M-3M APART,THEN NEVER TALK FOR ABT LIKE 20 MINS. Today... first there was school... PC then physics then PE. Borrowed basketball frm Mr Mun. boys wanted to snatch the ball then blah...[during recess](will update later). then after recess, went back to class, mr lin came to conduct maths lesson,then assembly...BORING then e lit. then LUNCH... boys wanted to play basketball with us cause we hav the basketball... MY BAND PRACTICE yesterday
it was super fun!!!we slacked like hell!!!
1st , we played captian's ball...but before that we pumped 10 'cause some of us were late(slow) going down to the parade square. "xiao tong" was super PRO. she was the defender for the opponent's team. she blocked almost almost all our shots.we had a hard time until xiao tong started to play as striker. our final score was 10-9 with my group 9.... it was a great game.
then because of some cca, we had to go back to the and there we played some indoor games.
we started off with wacko then blow wind blow then dodge ball with wei siang and ashley dodging, then aloysius joined in. wei siang said "____ got hit by level 1 jemaine and level 2 hui shi..." after that we ended off with pumping 10 again to make-up for another 10 we were supposed to do before the captain's ball.

And today i'm gonna watch aliens vs. monsters 3d with my relatives. got to go now bb.

Anyway, today i woke up at 8am+ [which is considered early...i usually sleep till 12nn =p] 'cause there was band prac at 9am...[almost late] can't find my instrument...and bla bla

[not so shiny] ok then me, shirlene and vivian went for eng remedial although we didn't fail...[evonne and jin lin in Singapore Maths Olympiad, zoey Overseas]
After that, evonne came[we were in com lab 3] and we went back to band room at 1230+
After Band prac, we[evonne, yuan ting, vivian, jin lin shirlene and me]
we to KFC for lunch.Saw J** K**D and friends at SUMO Hse
(evonne like shy shy like that...and bla)
after that i blew vivian de clarinet in MRT... can't blow a single sound so nvm...)

It sounds corny, you've heard it before.. but it really works!
And believe us, it DEFINITELY works better than
falling asleep with a partially-read book covering your face!
Take some basic concepts from your textbook and
transform them into a goofy song, poem, or even a rap!
This simple thinking exercise not only
familiarizes you with key ideas in an almost "fun" way..
It makes it easy to "sing" the song back to yourself
while taking the actual exam.. the keywords stick to you..
and the song(s) you write about them
become like your own invisible crib note sheet!
Of course, this tactic works best when
memorizing names and dates for subjects like History!

One of the reasons we all hate studying so much is that it often confines us to either an awful silence or even to an undesirable solitude. It's definitely much more appealing when there is someone there with us to turn studying into an interactive quiz show.. Asking questions.. throwing around ideas.. Testing us in a friendly way to see what we remember.
Psychologically, it's less stressful --and therefore, much easier -- for us to learn when the person asking us questions is a friend and not a pot-bellied, wide-eyed instructor.
Of course-- we could make a whole 'nother page filled with tricks just to get someone else to help out & actually participate in this sort of academic activity--but if it's the infamous 'night before an exam'.. and someone owes you a favor.. try this tip out !

If it's really the night before an exam, you shouldn't have even gotten this far in reading our web page!
Stop playing on the Internet..
Stop putting off what you have to do.. Just do it!
Don't let ANYTHING else distract you..
Don't tell yourself "Ok, I'll start "really" studying
after a snack." Or-- "I'll get into it once 90210 is over.." NO ! Get busy right now.. and don't stop !
Like exercise, it'll hurt while you do it..
But you'll feel better about all night studying
if it's from 8 PM to 4 AM then if it's only
from 3 AM to 4 AM and you wasted
all that time just getting upto it ! Think logically!
